Is there demand for expats in Russia still?
I am going to be graduating in December and have been considering going to work in Russia. However I was wondering is there still demand for expats in Russia?

Come to my city, I'll give you work. You will be my corrector of the articles that I write in English. Sometimes only native-eng-speaker can see mistakes

An English speaking person with smarts can find a job. Do not expect an expat treatment of 90s. You will be another odd worker, who does not understand the simplest things about Russian reality, but is capable of speaking clean English. Language is not a profession, unless you are an interpreter.

There is probably a demand for ESL teachers, but other than that it might be a bit tricky! Russia isn't the easiest place to find work due to their laws and regulations. Search up jobs in Russia for expats on the internet.

Apart from teaching English and working in the medical industry, jobs are next to impossible to obtain especially for a foreigner.

If you work for a multinational company then yes, there is a possibility for you to come to Russia as an expat, depending on your skills and persistence.

As foreign companies are uncomfortable with the political and economic situation in Russia. The numbers of expats has dropped considerably in the last few years. But your chances really depend on your profession. I know some who are very well paid in the oil/gas industry. Teaching English is really for the experience, not financial gain.
