Its possible but don't expect to earn much money. Your best bet would be to team up with a tour guide agency.

Almost everyone will want you to be 18+ and have Russian passport But you could always work as private tutor What city you are going to, Moscow or some other? What kind of job? And where are you from? (Just wondering)

what is the best way for me to find a job in Russia

what is the best way for me to find a job in Russia?
I was born in the U.S and always dreamt of living , going to school, becoming a citizen, serving in its military if necessary and working in Russia. I took Russian in high school and I have read russian history. I even know the russian premiers in order. I want to be a culinary student and eventually a politician and russia would be closer to my ideals then the U.S would.

If you want to be a culinary student, you should find a good culinary school here that can teach you about the russian cuisine. There are plenty of good culinary arts schools in the US that offer this russian cuisine education program. Just find the right one for you.

yes americans move there but not that much.

Yes some do. Beats me why? Mendeleyev is one of them. So is Alejandro. And they happy here, like the Drift of Hogs in the rice fields. So keep coming Americans. Maybe one day we will find the same language.

Mendeleyev was an american!!??? Ohhh...mine....never heard, its discovery of America for me.In truth he never been in the USA Yes,in news 3 weeks ago was american family, they farmers in Siberian village.

Absolutely Americans move to Russia and find very good opportunities there. Granny is partially right, right now I am back in the US finishing my studies (I graduate in May) but I lived in Russia for 4 years and loved it very much. I have Russian permanent residence so I can go back whenever I want and my wife and I hope to return there soon. As for other Americans going there, a lot of people I have met have wanted to learn Russian and so the easiest way for them and other foreigners to go to Russia is for them to study Russian language. This can be done through a Russian university and many stay until they are fluent. At which time they can get good jobs. Others go to Russia as part of a religious charities and organizations that try and help out. A big group there was the Mormons, but because of the new visa laws, the Mormons are going to be pulling out of Russia. But many international organizations like to do charitable work and find Russia a good place to help. Investors like Russia because of a low income tax rate and very low overall tax rate. They are able to invest money in an emerging market and find lots of ways to make money. If you are talking about investment in business or land, people are more likely to invest in production, such as factories, because labor is inexpensive and the rate of investment is high. There are a lot of computer companies that have their business license in the US but the production of games and software is done in Russia. In terms of investment in land, a British company and other agricultural companies are investing in land because of how good the soil is and want to do an economy of scale and really increase the agricultural yield there. There are many of opportunities there, you just have to be flexible and willing to work hard.
