Does WikiLeaks work for Russia? China? Iran? Or maybe Someone else

Does WikiLeaks work for Russia? China? Iran? Or maybe Someone else?
OK, WikiLeaks seemed interesting at first, but I now think they are being way too extreme. They are essentially revealing the intelligence documents of an entire nation. Is there any site that will reveal every single Russian secret plans? Is there any site that will reveal every single Chinese secret plans? From an amateur site WikiLeaks has grown into a huge thing. They could very well be sponsored by one or more countries who wish to see the USA fade away. And I don't like Republicans and I don't like the right wing at all, but I still think WikiLeaks could actually put the USA in danger. People with bad intentions could use their documents to their own political benefit.

They work for the truth sake. They want every body to know the truth. To know what is really going on behind the scenes.

Wikileaks serves only the causes of chaos and anarchy. When Assange's body shows up with a bullet in its skull, few in the civilized world will shed a tear.

Wiki site says > The organization has described itself as having been founded by Chinese dissidents, as well as journalists, mathematicians, and start-up company technologists from the U.S., Taiwan, Europe, Australia, and South Africa. Sounds like home grown terrorist to me !

Agreed.

Yet our gummyment says re: domestic spying on citizens, "if you've nothing to hide, then it's no big deal" then gets pi$sed when it's laundry is aired. What hypocrites.

I know this might be hard for you to believe but Wikileaks is simply working to reveal the truth. Assange is not working for Russia or China because he's revealing classified information about them too. Look if you've got nothing to hide you've got nothing to worry about.

... According to Wikipedia: WikiLeaks is an international non-profit media organization that publishes submissions of otherwise unavailable documents from anonymous sources and leaks. Its website, launched in 2006, is run by The Sunshine Press.[1] Within a year of its launch, the site claimed a database that had grown to more than 1.2 million documents.[3] The organization has described itself as having been founded by Chinese dissidents, as well as journalists, mathematicians, and start-up company technologists from the U.S., Taiwan, Europe, Australia, and South Africa.[1] Newspaper articles and The New Yorker magazine (7 June 2010) describe Julian Assange, an Australian journalist and Internet activist, as its director.[4] ~ Remember, Wikileaks didn't break in and steal those documents. The real problem for the U.S. is the source of the leaks. Anyone leaking defense-sensitive information should be tried for treason.

They sure act like they do.

If the government was acting "in the best interest" for the people that live in the US then they would have no reason to keep secrets. The government should not do ANYTHING that is contrary to public opinion of the majority. There should be no reason for them to keep any secrets from it's citizens. We have the RIGHT to know EVERY move they make. That is not to say people living outside the US have that same right, because they don't, unless it is something that directly effects them. In that case I think they should have the right to know. If anything has put this country in danger it is the politicians themselves. Wikileaks only reports the news, they don't make it. Now if they are posting slanderous or false documents it becomes a civil matter between them and the people named therein. Freedom of the press is protected in this country. Freedom of speech and religion are also supposed to be protected. Ask yourself this. Would you even know that wikileaks existed if it hadn't been "advertised" on the news??
